In our desperate attempt to make cookies halfway healthy (why is the combination of butter, sugar and flour so sinful?) here's another cookie recipe for you to try. If you love snickerdoodles, you'll love these!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c butter
2 eggs
1 c Joseph's Grainery Soft White Wheat, milled in your blender to a stone ground consistency
1 3/4 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
4 Tbsp Sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Directions: Preheat overn to 375 degrees. Cream together the sugar, butter and eggs. Stir int he flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Chill dough for 1 hour in the fridge. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Combine the Sugar and Cinnamon and roll the cookies in it. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
