Breakfast for Dinner


Often when MaMa is feeling like she's lacking creativity in the kitchen she'll fall back on the good ol' breakfast-for-dinner option.  At our house, this means ooooey, gooey whole grain goodness.  We love eating her cracked wheat pancakes.  One trick she uses is to do everything in the blender.  First she cracks the wheat in there, then she adds the liquid ingredients, blends, then gradually adds the dry ingredients, blending as she goes.  Then she just uses the pitcher of the blender to pour the batter straight onto the griddle (or sometimes the waffle iron).  Less dishes to clean up and we all like that!  :)
